Snowmobile Tour

Join a special snowmobile experience in approved trails and spectacular terrain, just 75 minutes by bus from Tromsø city center!

Upon arrival at the camp, our guides will welcome you, and you'll be provided with a thermal suit/warm clothing, shoes, mittens, and a helmet, as well as a safety briefing and a practical demonstration of snowmobiling.

The snowmobile ride covers approximately 20 km of varied terrain and lasts for about 2 hours. The duration of the tour may vary depending on weather and snow conditions. We make short stops along the way for photo opportunities.

You will ride with a partner, taking turns being the driver. If you come alone, you will be assigned a partner. If you wish to drive the snowmobile alone, this must be arranged in advance.

Finally, we serve a hot meal in the lavvu at the camp before returning by bus to Tromsø. If time allows, you can book a sauna or jacuzzi.

The tour duration is approximately 8.5 hours, including transfer to and from Tromsø.

Departure is at 9:00 AM from the harbor by Scandic Ishavshotell. Bus marked "The Arctic Route", number 920 to Storslett. Please join the tour 15 minutes before departure.

Additional Tour Notes

Disclaimer

Snowmobiling depends on sufficient snow conditions.

Children and others without a valid driving license may not drive the scooter, either alone or with another person.

The minimum age limit is 8 years.

The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.
